These are my attainable fashion goals. Most of these things are designer but i specifically chose pieces that didn't have too much detail, intricate patterns or prints, or otherwise felt "too designer" (besides the tabis but those are only there for that perfect metallic color). I feel like i'm getting closer to being an adult, an actual adult and not the idea of an adult i had when i was 19 where i pushed myself into this weird sterile abstract version of what an adult should look like. And through the years, my phases, emotional ups and downs, weight gains and loses, hair growth and dyes i feel i'm at a pretty good place with how i look. But one thing i realized is that i want to wear things that flatter my body and i want to look pretty and i feel like i shouldn't have to "dress easy" and compensate those things without looking visually interesting and feeling stimulated at the idea of my outfits. The fashion i create on my polyvore, the editorials that i save, and the runway pictures i reblog inspire a lot of things but there is a vast difference between that fashion and how i dress in real life. The reality is i'm short and chubby and i can't afford the luxe designer clothes that i sought after. So i'm stuck sifting through the likes of target, kohls, tj maxx, thrift stores, and asos looking for classic pieces and trying to find something with just a little detail to it that makes it feel special. The good thing about this is i know exactly what i want and i know what i'm looking for but even with that it becomes exhausting and feels fruitless. But lately i've discovered a couple new things that look good on my body that i feel comfortable in and introduced color to my wardrobe so i'm starting a long process of building up a collection of clothes that i can afford, represent me, are somewhat consistent with my style (without putting myself in a box), flatters my body, and still looks interesting.
